Granny Stitch Cowl

Here is this month’s pattern for the Granny-Spiration Challenge by EyeLoveKnots. I missed last months pattern, which is kind of a bummer, but oh well, you do what you can and keep going.
For this month’s pattern I kind of cheated in coming up with my own design, as I used the Granny Stitch Square Pattern by Cream Of The Crop Crochet, which is published on my other site CrochetN’Crafts. The free pattern is here: Granny Stitch Square.
I followed the pattern to a tee, except I used a #3 yarn and a G crochet hook. Then I went for 120 rows to get a cowl long enough for a double wrap. When you get to the last row, fasten off leaving a 10″ tail for sewing the last row to the first.
Laying flat it measures 4.5″ wide by 25″ long.
It’s the middle of summer here, but I can’t wait to wear this once the cool weather starts in the fall. And I hope you will enjoy it too.
Now, head over to the EyeLoveKnots site to enter this month’s giveaway for a scarf pattern and three skeins of Caron Simply Soft, which is sponsored by Crochet is the Way.
Lovely! That color is so soothing and the yarn you used looks really soft.
Have a great week!
This is right up my alley – I have a bunch of similar scarves laying around. Great piece to wear when the weather cools – even with the holes.
It Is GORGEOUS !!!!!
I Love It !!!!!
Thank you 🙂
