Ham and Pineapple Recipe
A quick and easy ham and pineapple recipe to serve over rice or a turkey dinner. It's delicious and family friendly.
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups cooked ham, cubed
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 1/2 cups pineapple, cubed
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
In a medium sized frying pan, melt butter and add the ham, green onion, salt and pepper. Sautee for about 3-5 minutes.
In a small bowl combine the pineapple juice, honey and cornstarch. Add mixture to the frying pan along with the pineapple.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Add the cilantro and cook for about another 1-2 minutes.
Serve with rice or a turkey dinner.
