Easy Beef Gravy Recipe
This easy beef gravy recipe can be made with roast beef drippings or with plain old canned beef broth.
- 1 cup roast beef drippings (or beef broth)
- 1/4 cup whole wheat or white flour
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Add drippings to the pan. Gradually stir in the flour and cook for about a minute until it becomes thick, stirring constantly.
Add the water and cream. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-10 minutes until gravy is at its desired thickness.
Serve with your favorite meat and mashed potato dishes.
