A yarn stash is a common problem among crocheters. It’s not that we don’t know what to do with the yarn, it’s just that we keep buying more yarn than what we can handle. There are too many crochet designs out there and too many yarn sales. And in my case, I have way to many ideas rolling around in my head for new designs.
Don’t get me wrong… I’m not complaining. Never!
But, it can get overwhelming sometimes when you look at your yarn stash and all the things you have planned. There are just not enough hours in the day to get everything done it seems.
I had done pretty good all winter and had designed many patterns in attempt to get rid of some of my scrap yarns. Here is a small collage of my stashbuster patterns from within the last year or so.

Just recently I found some more cotton yarn. I thought I had used it all up a year ago, but I had enough left over for a small dishcloth pattern. The pattern is still being tested and will be available on my pattern site soon:
I still have a lot more scraps to get rid of. My inspirations for scrap patterns just aren’t that good so not sure when I’ll succeed at getting rid of my stash … of if ever. I’m thinking of lots more Barbie patterns, but we’ll see.
