Okay, I have been busy starting a whole bunch of crochet projects, but am not so good at finishing them lately. I think it is due to all the stuff that’s been going on lately, and it’s just wearing me out. So I crochet at the end of the day to relax, but at this time of the day, my mind is not focused enough for me to actually write the pattern down. And so the projects end up sitting there for ages before I have a chance to finish them.
But I guess it is better to have more work than you can handle than not enough. The truth is I honestly do not know what I would do sometimes if I didn’t have my crochet work.
Anyway, this pattern is for a camisole for myself, which means that it will fit any young teen. However, if you wanted to, you could try making it in a worsted weight yarn in order to increase the size. The pieces are joined together to form a tube, which doesn’t look like much when laying flat, but it actually fits nicely when worn.
I haven’t yet decided on what I will do for the edging, but I have a couple of rough sketches to play around with. As with any project that involves squares, this pattern has a lot of ends to weave in.
I made this one in a black and red crochet thread, and my next one will be in a yellow, green and beige color. It will be perfect for next spring.
